BMW Motorrad is all set to make a debut at the India Bike Week (IBW) in Vagator, Goa from 24-25 November 2017.
During the event, BMW Motorrad will launch two iconic motorcycles – the new BMW K 1600 B and the new BMW R nineT Racer.
Dimitris Raptis, Head of Region Asia, China, Pacific, South Africa, BMW Motorrad will unveil the new motorcycles.
Apart from the above two, BMW Motorrad pavilion will also showcase - S 1000 RR, R 1200 R, S 1000 R, R nineT, R nineT Scrambler, R 1200 GS Adventure, R 1200 GS, S 1000 XR, K 1600 GTL, and R 1200 RT.
Let’s take a look at what the upcoming bikes - BMW K 1600 B and BMW R nineT Racer, offer at a global level to international customers.
BMW K 1600 B
It comes equipped with 1,649cc oil-/water-cooled, 4-stroke, in-line 6-cylinder engine which churns out 118kw (160hp) of rated output at 7,750rpm and 175Nm of maximum torque at 5,250rpm.
K 1600 B’s 6-speed transmission gives maximum speed of over 200 km/hr.
Featuring ABS technology, the bike has 1,618mm of wheelbase, 2,489mm of length, 1,000mm of width, 1,465mm of height, and seat height of 750mm.
It is available in single blackstorm metallic colour.
BMW R nineT Racer
It has 1,170cc air/oil-cooled, flat twin, 4-stroke engine, which gives out rated output of 81kW (110hp) @ 7,750rpm, and maximum torque of 116Nm @ 6,000rpm.
Similar to BMW K 1600 B, its 6-speed transmission gives maximum speed of over 200 km/hr.
BMW R nineT Racer also features ABS, and measures 2,105mm X 920mm X 1,105mm. It has a wheelbase of 1,491mm, and seat height of 805mm.
It is available in lightwhite uni body colour.
