Bharat Web3 Association Names Dilip Chenoy As Chairman for Blockchain Development
The Bharat Web3 Association (BWA) has named Dilip Chenoy as its first Chairman, with the aim of driving innovation and growth in India's blockchain industry.
Chenoy is a veteran in the industry and has extensive experience in leading domestic industry bodies.
The BWA is a collaboration between leading entities in the Web3 and Digital Assets sector, with a goal of nurturing the sector in collaboration with the government and other key stakeholders. The appointment of Chenoy as Chairman is seen as a strategic move to boost the growth and development of the ecosystem.

Chenoy has previously held high-level positions in various industry bodies, including the Secretary-General for the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI), Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), Director-General of the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), and Deputy Director-General of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
The BWA's appointment of Chenoy as Chairman is expected to provide a significant boost to the organization's efforts to promote skill development and harness demographic dividends.
