BenQ has introduced the V5010i, a 4K RGB Ultra Short Throw Laser TV Projector designed to enhance home entertainment, particularly in well-lit environments. Priced at Rs 6,50,000, it aims to serve as a viable alternative to traditional large-screen TVs.
The V5010i is capable of projecting screen sizes up to 120 inches from just 13 inches away, making it adaptable for various room setups. It features an RGB Laser Light source that provides vibrant visuals with exceptional color fidelity, achieving 95 per cent of the BT-2020 color space and 98 per cent of the DCI-P3 color gamut. This offers accurate colour reproduction for an immersive viewing experience.
The projector supports true 4K UHD resolution with 8.3 million distinct pixels, delivering clear images. It is equipped with 2500 ANSI Lumens brightness, which contributes to sharp picture quality even in brighter rooms.
Audio quality is also a focus, with the V5010i featuring a built-in audio system that includes 40W speakers—comprising dual 5W tweeters and dual 15W woofers. This setup is designed to deliver deep bass and superior sound quality, aimed at providing an enhanced audiovisual experience.
In terms of installation flexibility, the V5010i offers features such as Auto Screen Fit, Auto Keystone correction and 8-point corner fit adjustments. It supports HDMI 2.1 with 4K@120Hz input and includes Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) for reduced input lag, catering to gamers seeking a more responsive experience.
