For any Indian movie to be doing its 9th week run at the box office and still raking in money is a huge deal. ‘Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’ is finally ending its theatrical run at the box office and managed to record a collection of Rs 30 lakh in its 9th week run and stands with a total collection of Rs 511.30 crore (Hindi version) at the domestic market.
The makers of ‘Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’ are hoping for a great response like ‘Dangal’ in the Chinese market and so it is set to hit the Chinese theatres in September this year. The film will be releasing across 4000 screens to wow the Chinese audiences. Reportedly, the actors of the movie will be promoting it in the Chinese market themselves.
‘Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’ currently holds the record of the highest Indian grosser at the domestic market and hopes to break the record of Aamir Khan’s Dangal in China.
The film that stars Rana Daggubati, Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, Tammannah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan and Sathyaraj and directed by SS Rajamouli has broken all records at the domestic market in all versions of the movie. The film has managed to record a gross collection of Rs.735.84 crores for its Hindi version.
The film has also managed a good business due to its overseas collection as well. In just 6 days, the film had managed to do a business of 12.6$ million in the US. Overall, ‘Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’ recorded a collection of Rs 300 crore as its overseas collection. In its eighth week, the film raked in a collection of Rs 2.22 crore.
Now, finally when ‘Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’ is wrapping up at the domestic box office, the Chinese market remains open.
