Avishek Bambii Das, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ospree Duty Free, has been honored as a Keeper of the Quaich, the highest honor in the Scotch whisky industry, at Blair Atholl Castle in Scotland. This prestigious recognition is reserved for individuals making significant contributions to the industry, with only a select few invited each year. With this milestone, Avishek joins an elite group of members worldwide and is among the few Indians to have received this commendation. The same evening, renowned musician and rock legend Sir Rod Stewart was also honored as a Keeper of the Quaich.

Under Avishek's leadership, the Single Malt Scotch Business experienced an astonishing growth of 60 per cent YoY, led by Ospree’s unique range of over 250 malts. Overall, the whisky category grew by 41 per cent in FY24, accounting for 45 per cent of total revenue.
