Global electronics manufacturing company Jabil will be investing Rs 2000 crore to establish a new facility in Trichy. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin revealed this development on Tuesday, highlighting it as part of three key announcements made during his ongoing 17-day trip to the United States to attract fresh investments.

In addition to the Jabil announcement, CM Stalin shared news of two other significant investments. Rockwell Automation will expand its manufacturing operations in Kanchipuram with a Rs 666 crore investment, creating 365 new jobs.
Additionally, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Autodesk will focus on upskilling youth and supporting micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), further strengthening Tamil Nadu's industrial ecosystem.
