Ankush Ingle Opens Up On The Challenges He Faced On His Journey To Success
Magnificent success stories are so attractive that they totally camouflage the struggle behind them. All we see is the accolades and fame, but fail to realize the hustle that went behind it. One such hustler who achieved success with his determination and perseverance is Ankush Ingle, who is also popularly known as, DJ ODIN. There are very few people in the entertainment industry who do not know Ankush. He is the life of every party he goes to. Despite coming from a humble background, Ankush has made it so far and today when he looks back, he can see the challenges and struggles that he sailed through.
We asked Ankush about the issues he faced on his journey and he said that lack of clarity was the primary problem. “I knew music was my calling right from school days. I’d play tabla on tables and tried to discover music in the rustling of leaves and the tinkering of utensils. However, no one, including me, took it seriously. We all thought it was just a hobby and a real career is the one that involves studying. My true moment of realization came when I was in engineering college. I finally knew that music would be my career, and I dropped out of college in 2015”, says Ankush, who also thinks that his friends and family had a major role to play in his realization.
DJ ODIN also says that self-doubt hindered him. His friends were unlocking new milestones in their careers and he didn’t even know if his music dream will get fulfilled. When he moved from his hometown, Amravati to Mumbai, he was excited but worried about the challenges ahead. He is proud that his move was a major milestone in his journey. He faced difficulties later as well, but hard work helped him sail through rough waters and today his popularity is proof of his mettle.
He is now a popular name in South Asia’s music scene and Ankush is among the few mainstream music producers from India. His constant experimentation with style and the refusal to stop learning has made a difference to his career and the music space. Ankush learned the art of DJing from DJ Cyrus, one of the best DJs in the country. Later, he started performing at every opportunity possible to master his art through practical experience. Ankush regularly creates a fun vibe with his music at Mumbai clubs including Bombay Cocktail Bar, Bombay Adda, Mansion at Sahara Star, Rodeo Drive, Mitron, Lord of the Drinks Mumbai, Dragonfly Experience Mumbai, Barrel and Co., Club Illusions, XOYO Thane, The Secret Thane, Tryst, Amethyst.
He has also received tremendous appreciation from Bollywood celebrities, who regularly invite him to their parties. These celebrities include Jackie Shroff, Sooraj Pancholi, Dino Morea, Ankita Lokhande, Shalmali Kholgade, etc. Ankush is in heavy demand and his calendar is often blocked weeks in advance.
Now that is a true hustle and a story where the hero has shined through all challenges.
