All-New Renault Duster 2018 Revealed: Here Is All You Need To Know
French automobile manufacturer Renault has revealed its upcoming compact SUV all-new Renault Duster 2018. It is expected that the company will be showcasing the new Renault Duster in Auto Expo 2018, scheduled to be held from 9-14 February at India Expo Mart in Greater Noida.
Duster 2018 boasts of an all-new exterior styling, totally redesigned interior, new driving aids and equipment, enhanced safety, and an improved 4WD (four-wheel drive) driving experience.
Although visually more muscular, the new Duster features the same compact dimensions as its previous model.
From exterior design cues wise, the SUV gets a wider front and rear appear, new aluminium roof bars and more prominent front and rear skid plates, and new 17-inch wheels.
The dashboard has been totally redesigned, seats have been completely revised, and more storage spaces.
The all-new Renault Duster catalogue also offers a range of equipment to facilitate everyday driving. The list includes a multi-view camera, blind spot warning, a 4x4 monitor, remote engine start, automatic climate control, a keyless entry and automatic headlight activation.
Renault first launched the Duster in India in July 2012, and since then the vehicle has created wonders for the company.
The current Renault Duster in India comes in both petrol and diesel options. While the petrol variant costs between Rs 842,500 - Rs 10,14,600, the diesel options come within a range of Rs 936,300 - Rs 13,66,100.
There is a Duster diesel Sandstorm edition which has been priced at Rs 10,90,400 and Rs 11,70,400.
The new Renault Duster boasts of dCi 1.5 litre diesel engine and offers you a choice of two power outputs - 110PS and 85PS. It comes with a torque of 245Nm and 200Nm, respectively. The 110PS version has a 6-speed manual transmission, and the 85PS one features a 5-speed manual transmission.
Its new 1.5 litre petrol engine churns out a power of 106PS and maximum torque of 142 Nm. Mated with the X-tronic CVT gear shift, and is also available in manual transmission.
It measures 4,315mm X 1,822mm X 1,695mm, with 2,673mm of wheelbase and 205mm of ground clearance. Duster has a boot space of 475 litres.
