European aerospace company Airbus has entered into an agreement with the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Mumbai to deliver aviation education to professionals, equipping them with industry-ready skills through the Airbus Beyond programmes.
As part of this contract, IIM Mumbai will offer short-term aviation courses to aspiring and working professionals, enabling them to leverage Airbus Beyond programmes in various areas such as aviation logistics, supply chain management, operations excellence, cargo handling, strategic procurement, business analytics and digitisation.

Through this partnership, we are combining our expertise and resources to create comprehensive programmes that will contribute to the advancement of aerospace education and skilling in India.”

Under the terms of the agreement, IIM Mumbai will organise courses, admit students and provide infrastructure and logistical support. In the initial phase, Airbus will contribute trainers and training material from the Airbus Beyond catalogue for short-term courses and in the subsequent phase, they will collaborate on developing long-term courses and certifying trainers.
Airbus Beyond, an Airbus subsidiary, focuses on empowering professionals to meet the challenges of the aerospace industry. The programmes aim to enhance capability building at both executive and frontline levels.
