Acer Introduces First Copilot+ PC With Swift 14 AI Laptop

Acer unveiled a new line of laptops designed to usher in a new era of AI with the introduction of the Swift 14 AI. This device is the first of many Copilot+ PCs planned by Acer and is the result of a collaboration with Microsoft and Qualcomm Technologies, Inc.

The Swift 14 AI is available in multiple models powered by Snapdragon X Elite and Snapdragon X Plus platforms. Both models offer one of the world's fastest laptop NPUs, enabling on-device AI processing. This allows users to streamline everyday tasks with smarter PC functions and tackle complex workloads more effectively.

Additionally, the Snapdragon X Series processors are built specifically for AI and are designed to be among the most powerful, intelligent and power-efficient processors created for Windows on the market today. The Acer Swift 14 AI, powered by Snapdragon X Elite, features 12 high-performance CPU cores, integrated Qualcomm Adreno GPU and Qualcomm Hexagon NPU.

In addition, It is also equipped with up to 32 GB of memory and up to 1 TB of storage to enhance system performance and navigate demanding workloads.

Further, the Swift 14 AI has been optimised with powerful AI, unlocking new productivity, creativity and communication experiences. With features like Recall, users can find anything they've seen on their PC by describing what they remember. Live Captions with live translations provide automatic speech captions and conduct translations in real-time of any live or pre-recorded video.

The Acer Swift 14 AI (SF14-11) will be available in North America in July, starting at USD 1,099, and in EMEA in June, starting at EUR 1,499.

The Swift 14 AI features a 14.5-inch WQXGA (2560x1600) IPS display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and support for 100 per cent sRGB colour gamut. It is available with touchscreen options and comes with certification to help minimise the effects of harmful blue light. A 180-degree hinge design provides flexibility and enables easy opening of the aluminium cover.

A 1440p QHD IR webcam with a triple microphone array supports Acer's suite of AI-boosted conferencing tools. These can be swiftly calibrated thanks to Acer QuickPanel. This Copilot+ PC comes with Windows Hello and supports biometric and facial recognition login for quick and secure access.

Sustainability remains a key focus for Acer, with the Swift 14 AI utilising recycled plastic in the device, shipping with recyclable packaging and receiving certification for its compliance with environmental criteria. The device also offers the latest Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity for faster speeds and lower latency, plus a host of generous port selections for added flexibility.
