Hyundai Motor India is most likely going to launch the facelift of its highest selling compact SUV – 2018 Hyundai Creta in May 2018 in the country.
Hyundai Creta facelift will receive cosmetic changes, while retaining the same technical specifications as the current model.
The facelift will sport a larger hexagonal grille with a thick chrome surround, new redesigned front and rear bumper, separate housings for fog lamps, a thick black chin to give it a more muscular look, and new rear tail lamps with LED inserts.
It will also get revised stylings for the interior cabin with new upholstery, updated dashboard, fresh infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
However, what is going to be a crucial addition to the 2018 Hyundai Creta that will give it an edge among its competitors is going to be a sunroof. The sunroof addition will most likely be available on the top-end model.
The current model starts from Rs 929,000 (petrol), and Rs 999,900 (diesel) (all prices ex-showroom Delhi). However, keeping in mind the changes in the upcoming facelift, 2018 Hyundai Creta might get priced from Rs 11 lakh onwards.
In India, the five seater SUV is available in three engine options. The 1.6L CRDi VGT diesel engine generates 128PS of maximum power at 4000rpm and 260Nm of peak torque at 1900-2750rpm. The engine is mated to six speed automatic and manual transmissions.
