The film features Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Ramya Krishnan, Tamannaah, Sathyaraj and Nassar and has been produced under the banner of Arka Mediaworks and Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions for its Hindi version.
In the US, the movie has become the first Indian film that has crossed the Rs 100 crore benchmark. With its release in over 6500 screens solely in India and over 9000 screens across the world - the highest for an Indian film till date, this movie continues to have a phenomenal run at the box office.
Baahubali 2 has also managed a jaw dropping collection at the overseas box office, something that is a first for an Indian film doing business abroad. It has managed a gross collection of Rs 275 crore for all versions (overseas).
But with the release of Half girlfriend and Hindi Medium on Friday, May 19, we have to wait and watch whether this will impact Baahubali’s performance at the box office or not.
