For those of you tracking BW Businessworld, you would know that this brand has grown leaps and bounds over the past three years. From being a single print product, BW Businessworld has expanded its reach via multiple communities and different delivery platforms. In addition to its flagship brand that commands respect, BW has been actively building communities including BW Disrupt (Startups/ Entrepreneurs), BW Hotelier (Hospitality), BW Smart Cities, BW CIO (Technology, Advertising), BW Applause (Events). We are also adding titles in Sustainability and Education.
We have seen this success and growth because of our people who bring deep understanding of these communities and create content that makes a positive difference. And by creating solutions that extend from simple visibility offering to deep engagements for our customers with their target audience.
As we begin 2017, we plan to go deeper in to some of our communities and expand in to more verticals. For these plans, we seek mavericks who understand how these industries and communities work and help bring value to them.
We are currently looking for entrepreneurial-minded go-getters for the Aviation, BFSI, Education and Technology Communities.
We need people who breathe and dream about their communities all the time. They need to have good contacts within the industry/ vertical that they would like to work on with us. These specialists would be required to create compelling and sticky content that adds value across multiple formats. This is a role that goes beyond writing. You will also need to create video content, events (custom as well as our own large format ones). Essentially you need to master all content forms that leaves people asking for more.
We need people with at least three years of experience. There is no upper bar on experience for roles in this area.
Business Development Champs
Positions in sales require a deeper understanding of the industry that you are working on. It would be great if you have media experience but we would certainly want you to go beyond the regular inventory/ visibility sales to truly delivering on customers’ priorities by creating options that help them meet their marketing objectives. Aspire to become the marketing partner they refer to for all their marketing needs. For this role, it is critical that you are known and well connected to people in the specific industry.
We need people with at least three years of experience and there is no upper bar on experience for this role too.
Marketing Solution Specialists
You should have in depth knowledge of the industry that you would service with us. The B2B media industry has been slowly shifting from inventory and visibility options to becoming marketing partners. You will without a doubt need to understand the customer’s business and industry landscape and create compelling solutions. You would work along with the sales team to help them understand the customer and pitch optimum solutions that bring value to all stakeholders. Your solutions have to be superlative in order to ensure repeat business and lock in customers. Do bear in mind that you will need to ideate new and innovative solutions every single day. Work experience in a marketing role within the industry that you are applying for would be a big advantage.
For marketing positions we need people with at least five years of experience. There is no limit on the years of experience for this position too.
Besides the above positions we also need people with three-five years of experience for positions in video editing, database building and management, audience acquisition and events operations.
The content and sales positions are based across major metros in India. For the rest of the positions, we need candidates to be located in NCR, Mumbai and Bangalore.
