Yu Starts Rolling Android 7.1.1 Nougat Update For Yureka Black Smartphone

Micromax’s subsidiary YU Mobiles on Wednesday (23 August) started rolling out the Android 7.1.1 Nougat update for Yureka Black. The smartphone was launched with Android 6.0 Marshmallow in June for the Indian market at Rs 8,999. At the launch back in June, the company promised to bring the Android Nougat for the smartphone users and the update is being rolled out.

To get the Android 7.1.1 Nougat update on Yureka Black, users need to:

Open Settings > Click About Phone > Click on Software Update > Download the update & install.

The smartphone runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, it is packed with Snapdragon 430 MSM8937 processor and a 1.4 GHz octa-core CPU coupled with 4GB of RAM. It features a 5-inch full HD (1920x1080) IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

Yureka Black sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash, on the front, is an 8-megapixel camera with selfie-flash. It comes with a fingerprint sensor on the front which unlocks the phone in 0.2 seconds.

The metal-body smartphone comes in two body shades- Chrome Black and Matte Black. It has 32GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded up to 64GB through a MicroSD card. The dual-SIM handset is powered by a 3000mAh battery. Connectivity options includes- 3.5mm audio-jack, USB 2.0, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0 and GPS.
