Tin, nickel rebound on renewed demand

Mumbai, Mar 14 (PTI) Copper, nickel and brass prices rebounded at the non-ferrous metal market here today due to stockist buying amid fresh demand from industrial users.

While, tin and zinc eased due to sluggish demand from consuming industries.

Nickel climbed by Rs 15 per kg to Rs 940 from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 925.

Copper cables scrap, copper utensils scrap, copper billets and brass sheet cutting rose by Rs 4 per kg each to Rs 459, Rs 418, Rs 487 and Rs 350 from Rs 455, Rs 414, Rs 483 and Rs 346, respectively.

Copper scrap heavy and Copper armiture gained by Rs 3 per kg each to Rs 451 and Rs 442 as against Rs 448 and Rs 439 yesterday.

Copper sheet cutting moved up by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 437 as compared to Rs 435.

Brass utensils scrap edged-up by a Re per kg to Rs 336 However, Nickel dropped by Rs 10 per kg to Rs 1,445 from Rs 1,455 and zinc softened by a Re per kg to Rs 242. PTI ARR ANS ANS ANS
