BW Businessworld partnered with the Entrepreneurs’ Organisation (EO) to launch a special issue, ‘The Power Of Entrepreneurship,’ (the Special Issue), featuring 35 EO members who shared their valuable stories of success and also highlighted the key benefits derived from their EO Memberships.

The Special Issue was launched on Friday, February 10, 2017, with over 200 Entrepreneurs at The Oval Room at the Hyatt Regency in Delhi.

During the opening remarks, Sanket Lamichhane, Chapter President Nepal EO & Regional Director South Asia EO welcomed the attendees and also introduced Chiranjiv Patel, Regional Director South Asia EO.

Chiranjiv said, “I warmly welcome Brian Brault, the incoming Global Chairman of EO and also welcome our special guests for the evening, Vijay Goel, Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports; Kartikeya Sharma, Founder & Promoter of ITV Media Network; Amarjit Batra, Country Manager, OLX India; and Anurag Batra, Chairman and Editor-in-Chief, BW Businessworld. Today, EO is active in over 50 Countries across the globe and it has over 12,000 Members and over 160 Chapters.”

Chiranjiv also said, “EO is truly delighted to release the Special Issue, which has also resulted in creating a formidable partnership between EO and BW Businessworld, which is India’s most respected Business Magazine. In particular, I thank Anurag Batra, Swati Nair, Director, South Asia and Munnish Puri, Chief Innovation Officer, BW Businessworld who brought alive the dream of creating and releasing the Special Issue.”

Vijay Goel said, “You should do a business with great enthusiasm and your vision and mission should be very clear. You should also move ahead and prepare to take care of risks and uncertainty.”

Anurag Batra added, “Beginning a career in entrepreneurship is always synchronised with an exceptional capacity to lead. Our hopes, visions, and aspirations are intertwined with everything we build. In my opinion, a society emerges from its past-thoughts only when it reflects upon the progressive thought leaders of tomorrow. After two decades in the media industry, building and acquiring businesses, I have learnt that effective entrepreneurship positively impacts society.”
Anurag Batra further added that BW Businessworld is truly delighted to partner with EO to create the Special Issue, “We are sure the stories herein will positively influence the minds of all our readers. We warmly welcome Brian Brault, the incoming Chairman of EO. We hope to continue working with Brian, Chiranjiv, Swati and team to light up the lives of many more entrepreneurs.”

Brian Brault took the stage to discuss his personal EO journey and he also shared tips for young and aspiring entrepreneurs.

The evening also witnessed a special session, ‘Success Story’ with Geeta Phogat, a freestyle wrestler who won India’s first-ever gold medal in wrestling at the Commonwealth Games in 2010. Geeta shared her personal story that was inspirational. Mahavir Singh Phogat also graced the special occasion.

The event was highly energetic and impactful. The Special Issue was distributed with BW Businessworld Magazine.
