Nokia Launches Three Android Smartphones; Prices Starting From Rs 9,499

Nokia on Tuesday (13 June) has launched it's three smartphones 3, 5 and 6 in India priced at Rs 9,499, Rs 12,899 and Rs 14,999, respectively

After announcing its new range of smartphones in May 2017, Nokia on Tuesday (13 June) has launched it's three smartphones 3, 5 and 6 in India priced at Rs 9,499, Rs 12,899 and Rs 14,999, respectively. The prices set by Nokia for their smartphones are very competitive; the three smartphones will compete with Redmi 4 and Redmi Note 4.

Nokia is making a comeback in the Indian market after a long time and they have targeted the mid-range smartphone segment which have seen significant rise in sales. The Nokia smartphones come with a sculpted polycarbonate body and aluminium frames.

Nokia 6

The new Nokia 6 will be exclusively available for buyers on Amazon at Rs 14,999 and the registrations will start from 14 July. The new smartphone runs on Android 7.1.1 and powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. It features a 5.5-inch full HD (1920x1080) IPS LCD display. The device comes with four color options- tempered blue, matte black, silver and copper.

It sports a 16-megapixels rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and dual tone LED Flash, on the front is an 8-megapixel camera. The smartphone has an internal storage of 32GB; the storage can be expanded up to 128GB through a MicroSD card.

It is backed by a non-removable 3000mAh and has a 3.5mm audio jack. Connectivity options includes- Wi-Fi, USB 2.0, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS.

Nokia 5

The new Nokia 5 can be pre-booked from 7 July and will be exclusively available for buyers through local retailers (Offline) at Rs 12,899. The new smartphone runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 coupled with 2GB of RAM. It features a 5.2-inch HD (1280x720) IPS LCD display which is larger than Nokia 3. It also comes in four color options- tempered blue, matte black, silver and copper.

It sports a 13-megapixels rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and dual tone LED Flash, on the front is an 8-megapixel camera. The smartphone has an internal storage of 16GB; the storage can be expanded up to 128GB through a MicroSD card.

The budget smartphone will be exclusively available for buyers through local retailers (Offline) from Friday (16 June) at Rs 9,499. The new Nokia 3 is powered by Android 7.0 Nougat and powered by 1.3 GHz Quad-core MTK 6737 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. It features a 5-inch HD (1280x720) IPS LCD display. The handset comes in four color options- tempered blue, matte black, silver and copper.

It sports an 8-megapixels rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED Flash, on the front is also a similar 8-megapixel camera. The smartphone has an internal storage of 16GB; the storage can be expanded up to 128GB through a MicroSD card.

It is backed by a non-removable 2630mAh battery and has a 3.5mm audio-jack. Connectivity options includes- Wi-Fi, USB 2.0, Bluetooth and GPS.
