NDTV closes trading window for 48 hours to stop potential insider trading

Citing 'potential sale of certain strategic assets by certain material subsidiary(ies) of the Company', NDTV, in a response to BSE has shut down its trading for the next two days.

New Delhi based media firm NDTV has written to BSE today and has shut down trading of its shares for the next 2 days - 18th and 19th of April, 2017. A copy of the letter, which is in possession of BW, is produced below.




In a filing with BSE, the company has today also declared it is considering asset sales in subsidiary companies. NDTV, however, did not elaborate on the assets the company will consider for sale or the date of the Board meeting.

The stock of NDTV was trading 0.97 percent higher at Rs 72.50 on BSE.
