Indian smartphone manufacturer Micromax on July 31 launched its new smartphone Selfie 2 in India. Priced at Rs. 9,999, the smartphone will go on sale from today (1 August) through offline channels. The device comes with a 100-day replacement and Micromax will replace it if there is any damage.
Selfie 2 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with features like Multi window support, reply in the notification panel, enhanced doze mode, and much more. It is powered by Quad-core MediaTek M6737 processor coupled with 3GB DDR3 RAM. It has 32GB internal storage which is expandable up to 64GB through a MicroSD card.
Selfie 2 features a 5.2-inch HD (1280x720) display with 2.5D curved glass. It sports a 13-megapixels rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. On the front is an 8-megapixels selfie-camera with f/2.0 aperture, real time bokeh effect, and selfie-flash.
Micromax Selfie 2 is backed by a 3000mAh battery which will last for a day. It has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor which unlocks the device. Connectivity options are – Wi-Fi, VoLTE, Bluetooth, and Micro USB.
Micromax Selfie 2 will face competition with the likes of Redmi 4, Moto E4 Plus, and Samsung J5 among others.
