British automobile manufacturer Jaguar Land Rover has launched its first made in India performance SUV - Jaguar F-Pace 2018 for Rs 60.02 lakh (ex-showroom).

Available in the Prestige derivative and powered by 1,999cc, 2L 4-cylinder, 132 kW Turbocharged Ingenium diesel engine, Jaguar F-Pace is the 6th model from Jaguar Land Rover product portfolio to be locally manufactured in India.
The diesel engine churns out 132kW of maximum output at 4,000rpm, and 430Nm of maximum torque at 1,750 - 2,500rpm. The engine is mated to an 8-Speed Automatic Transmission.
The vehicle measures 4,731mm X 2,175mm X 1,651mm, with 2,874mm of wheelbase.
The F-Pace was first launched in India in October 2016.
It comes equipped with adaptive LED headlights, activity key, Wi-Fi hotspot & pro services, 25.91 cm (10.2) touch screen, rear recline seats, four-zone climate control, 380 W meridian sound system, and configurable interior mood lighting (with 10 colours).
For safety and security, Jaguar F-Pace comes equipped with emergency brake assist & hazard lights, perimeter sensing alarm & immobiliser, seat belt reminder (front & rear) & ISOFIX rear, airbags (driver & front passenger with seat occupant detector for passenger, front side, full length side window curtain), and passive front head restraints.
The made in India F-Pace is going to compete with BMW X3, Audi Q5, and Porsche Cayenne.
BMW X3 has been priced at Rs 49,10,000 (Expedition variant), and Rs 54,00,000 (M Sport variant).
