Groundnut oil rebounds on renewed demand

Mumbai, Nov 13 (PTI) Groundnut oil rebounded at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today following renewed demand from stockists and retailers.

While refined palmolein eased further due to lower demand from retail buyers.

Castor seeds bold and castor oil commercial also weakened further owing to poor offtake from soaps and shippers industries.

Meanwhile, linseeds oil held stable in the absence of any large-scale buying activity.

In the edible segment, groundnut oil prices regained by Rs 10 per 10 kg to Rs 860 from last Saturday's close at Rs 850, but refined palmolein edged down by Rs 2 per 10 kg to Rs 613 as against Rs 615 previously.

Moving to the non-edible section, castorseeds bold dropped by Rs 50 per 100 kg to Rs 4,425 as compared with Rs 4,475 on last weekend and castor oil commercial moved down by Rs 10 per 10 kg to Rs 915 as against Rs 925 previously.

Linseeds oil ended unaltered at Rs 750 per 10 kg. PTI BPD SBT
