Department of IT & BT, Government Of Karnataka To Organise 20th Bengaluru Tech Summit From November 16th – 18th, 2017

The Dept. of IT & BT, Government of Karnataka is co-locating its flagship events, 20th edition of Bengaluru ITE.biz, 17th edition of Bengaluru India Bio and 3rd Edition of Bengaluru Maker Faire under one umbrella event BENGALURU TECH SUMMIT with the focal theme ‘Ideate, Innovate, Invent’. The summit which to be held between November 16th – 18th, 2017 at Bangalore Palace, Bengaluru will bring together under its roof Thoughtleaders, Technocrats, Researchers, Innovators, Investors and Policy Makers. This will pave the way for interdisciplinary dialogue and collaborations leading to emergence of disruptive technologies, path breaking products and unique services.
The event will be graced by Siddaramaiah, Chief Minister of Karnataka, Anne Berner, Minister of Transport and Communications of Finland and many other noted dignitaries.
It is worth mentioning that Bengaluru also recognised as the IT and BIO capital of India has earned repute as the 4th largest technology cluster of the world. The presence of a large pool of R&D and Educational Institutions coupled with many path breaking initiatives has helped the state gain the reputation as the Knowledge capital as well as Biotech capital of India. Karnataka contributes over 1/3rd of the biotech exports and is home to over 50% biotech companies of the country.
