Aegon Life Insurance Appoints Saba Adil As The Chief Operating Officer

In the new role, Saba will be responsible for creating a differentiated and superior customer experience and will continue reporting to the MD & CEO

Aegon Life Insurance, the pioneer in online insurance, announced the appointment of Saba Adil as the Chief Operating Officer, with effect from May 2018 to drive the strategic goals and operating plans of the company. Along with this new responsibility, Saba will continue to serve as the Chief People Officer.   

In the new role, Saba will be responsible for creating a differentiated and superior customer experience and will continue reporting to the MD & CEO.  

Speaking on the development, Mr. Vineet Arora, MD & CEO of Aegon Life Insurance said, “We are very pleased to appoint Saba Adil as the new COO. Her rich experience of over 18+ years in diverse roles including human resources, project management, customer insights and operations will be very relevant and valuable for Aegon Life Insurance. On her new role, Ms. Saba Adil, Chief People & Operating Officer at Aegon Life Insurance said, “Aegon Life, over the years, has established itself as a digital specialist in the Life Insurance sector. Saba joined the company in 2007 as one of the founding members and has since, played an important role in creating a powerful culture, aligning the organization to company values, building a strong employee value proposition, capability building for a future fit organization and personalized employee experiences. She has been internally and externally recognized as well as awarded in forums for her contributions. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Science and a Master’s in HRM, and armed with a Corporate Innovation Certificate Program from LEAD, Stanford.
