BW CIO World, a part of BW Businessworld, organised 'CIO Imperatives - The next 12 months' at ITC Grand Central, Mumbai.
The event started with an inspiring keynote session by Prakash Iyer, Author, Speaker and Leadership Coach on Leadership in the Digital Era.
In his address, Iyer said digital can make people irrelevant but people are the one who matters in digital transformation.
Digital adoption has four processes - Re-imagine the customer experience, empower employees, Optimise processes and Reinvention of the business model. "Digital era requires agile leadership," explained Iyer. It is important to make sure that the entire team is together when the organisation makes a technology leap. Success will happen only if you challenge the conventional way and do things differently and it is also important to raise your bar of your performance to be successful, Iyer explained.

"It is important to see familiar things differently to succeed in the digital world," concluded Iyer.
